I’ve been speaking about it, but it’s not getting to the amount of people I would have hoped, his band has ignored it and threatened me with police to keep me quiet
He strangled and raped me 4 months ago, he plays lead guitar in said band and is still playing gigs and being supported by hundreds it’s so frustrating and it seems like there’s nothing I can actually do, the police can’t do anything because it’s “hard to prove” and they are just useless with rape and abuse cases, the lead singer and the band’s manager have messaged me but they didn’t say very nice things and when I replied to the band about what had happened along with the evidence I have they ignored me. The lead singer said things to me like
“Are you sure it was rape or just sex you felt uncomfortable with”
“We have all been in situations where we’ve felt uncomfortable during sex”
What do I do?
