I wrote a while back about waking in the night and waking early. Well things are worse. He has regressed totally at bedtime and now needs one of us to stay in the room when he goes down. Worse yet, he has always been into touching hands and that’s how he’s falling asleep. So he then wakes up around 1 am every night totally screaming because no ones there. At that point, I either sit there again u til he falls in the crib, or most nights we sleep in the twin bed in his room. Schedule is usually 630/7, nap 1230-2, and now he’s not falling asleep until close to 9. I think 9 is too late, but the first problem I think is the hand holding/sitting next to the crib. Any ideas? We tried ferber and no one could take it this time. He’s just too old for CIO and check-ins like that escalate him. I really need to be able to say goodnight and leave the room 😩

I have an almost 2 year old and I’ve made/am making some great friends with other SAHMs with kids the same age. But I’m already starting to get sad that we’ll probably grow apart when our kids start school. We live all over the area, and the kids will all go to different schools, and some will even be homeschooled. will it be possible to keep up these friendships? Also, it exhausts me just thinking of having to do this again with new school parents! Should I enjoy this time now?
Hi all. Husband as Celiac, not me or our almost 2 year old (as far as we know). But we’ve had two instances that have me wondering. He doesn’t often eat gluten at all. We do gf at home, and I offer him something with gluten if we’re alone out (usually bite of donut or something similar). The first time something happened, he had a bite of an Auntie Anne’s pretzel. He immediately threw up. Second time, it was a bite of cinnamon roll. Again, immediately threw up. Not sure if it was a coincidence, or maybe both times he got the food stuck so he purged it? I guess wondering what symptoms your toddlers with Celiac may have experienced? Thanks 🙏
