For less than the cost of a blaster I was able to get the letter “a” written by Ty Cobb. I paid $24 for this card and couldn’t be happier. It’s awesome and absurd at the same time which I really love. Being just a single letter it was the cheapest copy I was able to find and I think it’s just as cool as any other (aside from the one that has the word “syphilis”).

I found my first repeater serial number today. 85118511

The ATM gave a stack of crisp sequentially numbered bills and this was among them. What premium (if any) does this have?

Back in 2018 I decided to look through the RL for interesting cards to spec on. These were the ones that I went for. I chose these due to their low cost and potential for growth if an interesting card comes out to combo with. These are by no means great cards but for one reason or another I really like them.

Season of the witch: paid avg. $4.50 each
Current mtggoldfish price: $30.14
Heat Stroke: paid avg. of $0.25 each
Current mtggoldfish price: $4.48
Mangara’s Tome: paid avg of $0.25 each
Current mtggoldfish price: $3.28
Ritual of the Machine: paid avg. of $0.75 each
Current mtggoldfish price: $8.99
Grim Feast: paid avg. of $0.75 each
Current mtggoldfish price: $8.60
Second Chance: Paid avg. of $0.75 each
Current mtggoldfish price: $8.10

If anyone else here has speculated on these cards, please share your reasons why. I would love to know what you all think. Also, what RL cards do you think are sleepers, or potential sleepers?

I enjoy cleaning up old cards and love this set. This is my first time working on one of these. If there is any advice anyone here can share, please do. Much appreciated. Thanks!

I started collecting this set around 2 months ago after falling in love with the designs and history. I’ve worked as a professional pipe maker for over 20 years and truly love the depictions of smoking styles used by cultures around the world.

I have a question for others who collect this set. Are any of the cards especially rare or did they all have a similar printing?
