When I first started collecting. I was taken for about $150 by a seller on FB marketplace. I was new in the hobby, too trusting, and just naive I guess. Anyway, I’m like an elephant. I recently ran across a post on FB that was claiming about a scammer with a familiar M.O., after asking the poster, I confirmed it was the same guy. I now have this dude address, his phone number, and a picture of his identification. I advise, don’t fuck with me. Be honest, because I won’t forget and I have enough disposable income that I can really be a pain in your ass. The first picture is what I already have sent to this piece of shit, the second picture is what I have planned.

Unfortunately, the 1888 Birds Of America is low grade and incomplete (guess WHICH pages are missing too 🙃). The Lichi is nice (N12), and Hyena from quadrupeds (N41) needs a cleaning but only has a few small issues.
What do yall use for the N41 sized cards?
These have come in the past couple of weeks. I’m now at 16/27 and my display wall case is coming today so I’m pumped to get them off stands and on full display.

Has anybody noticed inconsistencies in the gold border painting trying to determine if these have been altered or if this is just somehow how the paint looks?
Its measure correctly but not sure if they can trim like a mm off without it being detected by measurements
