Never gotten my car detailed. Want to treat myself. Where do I go for the cheapest and best car detailing experience.

I was diagnosed with BPD by my psychiatrist, and even at the time they said my presentation was kind of different from typical BPD.

Honestly, I wish it just clearly fit BPD. That would feel a lot more straightforward. But the more I’ve been in therapy, the more it feels like dissociation is actually the core of what I struggle with.

My therapist doesn’t focus much on diagnosis and mostly treats symptoms. Lately almost everything we’re working on is dissociation, and she’s said I’m being treated for secondary structural dissociation. I also took the MID in therapy.

What’s confusing is that when I ask if I have OSDD, she won’t give me a yes or no. It kind of feels like we’re working in that direction, but if anything ever has to be labeled, it defaults back to BPD. And that doesn’t fully match how things feel internally.

I don’t really know what I’m supposed to do with that. Is this just part of the process? Do therapists avoid diagnosing OSDD? Or is it possible this really is just BPD but with a lot of dissociation?

I think the hardest part is feeling like the thing we’re treating and the label I have don’t line up, and I don’t know if I’m ever going to get a clear answer.

Has anyone else dealt with this?
