Shout out to my new dentist

Shout out to my dentist! I broke a tooth in half that had an old filing, probably 20 or 30 years old, literally half (or more) of the tooth missing. No pain however. Went to this new dentist expecting him to tell me root canal, crown, multiple visits and a couple of thousand dollars to fix it. Dread city.

Nope. Looks at it says easy fix. He has a couple of Cerec machines in his office. Drills out the tooth, cleans it up. Takes the pictures and scans, uses the software to clean it up, prints out the crown installs it. Perfect fit! Whole process took about 30 minutes.

I was dreading the bill having had crowns before. I was expecting a thousand dollars or more. Nope. Less than $400, all done in one visit. No pain. X-rays were done before so I didn't have that cost

He's a younger guy, but he gives off old school vibes. No upselling, no price gouging, just good work done at , what I think, is a reasonable price

Amazing!!!

How long will a system last

We are buying a house with a septic. I am somewhat familiar with septic as the home we now have is on septic.

The house we are buying had the system installed in 1998 and is a gravity flow with a 1000 gal holding tank. It was recently inspected and passed by a state certified inspector. The inspector looked at the original blueprints and said that the system was somewhat overbuilt, has a HUGE drainage field and was in good shape. The only minor (according to him VERY minor) thing was only a 1000 gal tank. There have only 1 or 2 people living there for what is a 4 bedroom house and it gets pumped every year.

A long way of asking is what is the realistic lifespan for an almost 30 year old system with a somewhat smallish tank. There will be 4 people living in the house going forward

As the title says. I am at my goal weight and am on a weekly Tirz maintenance dose. Currently am prescribed and are taking 7.5mg weekly. Obviously if the doctor on the intake wants a full body pic, I probably won't qualify as I have already reached my goal weight and have a BMI of 25

How do I get around this???
