Eight months ago, I had surgery to remove a cartilage tumor from my leg above the knee on the outer side. The doctor did a great job, but while he was breaking up the tumor, he cut some peripheral nerves around the tumor site. There's a large area in my thigh around the surgical site where I don't feel anything, and there's no nerve response. Are these nerves supposed to heal and reconnect, and will it take a long time, or should I just accept it?
