Hey!

I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 weeks ago today, I only had 3, so it was both top teeth, and one on the bottom left. Everything seemed to be healing really well, the first few days were rough, lots of swelling on the left side, but all in all, nothing unexpected.

About 3 days ago, I started getting a dull aching pain and the feeling of tightness in my lower left jaw. I figured it was just the generation of new tissue and that everything was still normal.

Last evening the left side of my face began to swell, and the pain was increasing. I called my oral surgeon’s emergency line, and he told me he thinks it’s an infection, and that he would have a nurse call me in the morning to discuss.

This morning, I woke up with extreme swelling, and pain. They called me back, and have determined they believe it is an infection. I’ve been prescribed a second round of antibiotics (the first was precautionary immediately after surgery), and a stronger dose of ibuprofen.

I am making this post as no one that I know personally has gone through this, and where I didn’t have an in-person appointment today, I’m not exactly sure what to expect over the next few days. If this has happened to anyone else, I’d love to hear about your experience and how long it took for the swelling and pain to subside.

Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Hi! I just measured myself and wanted some advice because I’m a bit confused about my size and what styles would work best for me.

My measurements:

Underbust: 34”

Bust: 37”

The calculator is suggesting 34C, but I feel like that doesn’t really match how I look, I feel pretty small/flat, especially in most bras I’ve tried.

For context, I’ve lost weight, so my tissue is a bit softer and sits lower than it used to. My main goal is to find bras that give me some lift and shape, but I don’t want push-up or heavy padding.

I think I might have a shallower shape, but I’m not 100% sure.

Also, I’m a pretty anxious person and don’t feel comfortable going into a store to get fitted, I’d rather figure things out myself without feeling pressured to buy something.

Does 34C sound like a good starting point, or should I be trying other sizes as well (like 32D, 34B, etc.)? And are there specific styles that work better for softer tissue/lift without padding?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations or guidance, thank you!!
