All able-bodied adults should be able to run a 10-minute mile.

First off, able bodied, okay? If you have some sort of disability or whatever, I'm not talking about you, unless your disability is obesity, in which case I am. Also, not talking about elderly or infirm people obviously.

So, this is a pretty low bar, actually. Staying in good cardiovascular shape is part of basic body maintenance, like brushing your teeth. Everyone should brush (and floss) their teeth and everyone should be able to run a mile in 10 minutes.

Why is the default on returns "don't return the item?"

I just started selling on Mercari a few months ago and I'm sure I'm not the first person to complain about this, but why would I ever not want my item back as a seller, unless it was not valuable? It just seems ridiculous that the default on RETURNS is "don't return it" and I have to let them know if I want it to be returned, and I only have 24 hours to do this or else my item is forfeit.

It doesn't even make sense from Mercari's perspective because if the item is returned then I'm most likely going to sell it again, which means they make money off of it. If the buyer keeps it, they might throw it away, give it away, keep it, etc.

Like what is even the point? I guess they want to make the return process easier for the buyer, but aren't seller going to want the item back 99% of time, so like in most cases it's not making anything easier.
