The title might not be super clear but the vibe is like this.
Sort of vaguely late 70s early 80s vibe of the world , with technology based on magic instead of electricity and runes functioning like transistors and electrical components and powering cars and most technology as well as certain ammounts of wizard magic , sorcery magic and warlock magic. With some supernatural stuff being real , fantasy races and animal people and like a general vibe of surealist fantasy.
The exact location is a vaguely san Fransisco merged with new york inspired city with a downtown that has tall buildings and bustle and a downtown that has the hilly streets, an industrial area , a harbor , campuses, nightlight, "Chinatown" in this case different ethnic neighborhoods and lots of other stuff to do.
The vibe is like kind of mystery kind of thriller kind of pulpy action cop film with themes like secret cults , gangs, P.I.s and political subterfuge.
The goal is to either have a character for you and one for me or one character for you and a bunch of NPCs for me and we can run through a few scenarios or one long one or really anything you feel like.
