This is about my 11mo but really I'm asking parents of older kids.

One of my 11 month olds has had a helmet since December. He's made good progress but his cheeks, eyes, and ears are all still asymmetrical. His torticollis is not resolved despite 9 months of weekly PT, and today we saw a physiatrist who recommended Botox. I asked her about the asymmetry and she said it may not ever resolve.

I'm a little beside myself. I'm worried he'll struggle with glasses and hats. I'm worried kids will tease him.

Did anyone here have a helmet baby? How did they look when the helmet was removed and how do they look now?

Twins are 11mo and 22lb each. They wake 1-3 times per night for milk and we would like to stop this. My husband has been feeding them at 3 but not if they wake before, which I believe is confusing to them. They cry on and off from 12-3am, waking each other up back and forth like a ping pong match. It's awful, destroying our health and sanity, and causing so much tension in our home.

He wants to decrease oz by 1oz every 3 days. Right now he has them on 4oz at 3am, down from 6oz. I think we should give them water bottles in their cribs but he is against that, "Trading one sleep crutch for another." Whatever we're doing is actual hell because they cry all night.

Id also like to put them on one nap because I feel houselocked right now. They go down for their first nap at 8:30am because theyre exhausted from screaming all night. They take their second nap around 1pm. Each nap is 1.5 hours.

Just some background on their feeding: They receive 3 solid meals per day. One twin eats more solids than the other, but even the slacker is eating at least 25% if his offered meals. They receice 30oz of milk during daytime hours. They were born late preterm at 35w.

Any suggestions?

We have 4 young kids, ages 4, 3, and 11mo twins. It's all childcare all day. We thought it would be easier when our oldest turned 4, but we're still dealing with epic tantrums that are now harder to contain since she is physically too large for me to pick up. Our 3 and 4yo fight and scream at least a few times per day. Our 11 month olds require constantly being held, and theyre on 2 naps so we feel like we're on house arrest.

Is this ever going to be enjoyable? I pictured long bike rides and fishing trips to the lake and that seems so far from reality.

Struggling with first birthday gift ideas for my twins! We have a 3yo and a 4yo, so we have a mini trampoline, climbing triangle, and water table.

Whatever we get, we need 2 of, obviously. And it cant be so "cool" that my older kids steal it constantly. Unless, I suppose, it's a gift for everyone.

I was thinking mini shopping carts? Do we spring for an outdoor big toy? The babies dont walk but they do cruise along the furniture. Anyone have any good first birthday gifts?

Only thing I dont want is books. We have a more than we could read in 2 lifetimes.

We have twin boys who are two years younger than our singleton son. I'd like to get them triple bunk beds so they can all share a room.

Has anyone done this? Does it work?

We technically have space for the twins to have their own room, but that puts them in the basement alone while the rest of the family is upstairs. Twins are 1, older son is 3. Looking to make the switch around a year from now.
