I'd shipped things internationally before and it was always either expensive, slow, or just stressful. So when I needed to send a box of personal belongings from the US to the UK I wasn't exactly optimistic. A friend mentioned Meest and honestly I almost didn't bother because I'd never heard of them. But the rates were noticeably lower than the bigger carriers for the same box size and weight, so I figured why not. Setting up was straightforward - you create a personal account, then select what's inside your package from a list when declaring contents, which made the whole customs side feel a lot less intimidating than I expected. The box arrived within the timeframe they quoted, no unexpected charges, no weeks of silence. I'm not saying everything was perfect but after previous experiences with other carriers this felt refreshingly simple. Worth checking out if you're looking for options to ship from the US to the UK.

I’m talking autopilot stuff that wasn’t obvious at first, not some fancy theory screw-up, more like zoning out and mashing buttons on repeat, no care in the world. Stuff like auto c-betting every flop, overcalling rivers, and clicking buttons so quick that only later you realize that you never even actually thought about the hand. Does it get worse on fast-action sites like my bookie if you have a shitload of options: do you stay sharp or speedrun it?
What was the biggest mindset shift that improved your results?
I’m a regular NFL and NHL bettor, but what I kept noticing lately that it’s not even about trying to win bets anymore, it’s just avoiding being bored. Dopamine highs are crazy addictive, it’s like infinite scrolling on X at this point. What I do instead is just doing limited betting: rejecting most of the best, finding only the best ones. It’s not as fun but it’s more effective I think in the long-term, plus bankroll is definitely healthier now. So my setup is basically my bookie + couple of other sites for line shopping, rejecting most of boring bets, only going for 5% or smth like that the most exciting ones. Yeah, I’ve invented filtering I suppose. Anyone else has some revelations? Smth that actually made your betting better?
Besides going for walks how do you keep your dog occupied while ur WFH. Mine gives me those pouty eyes that make me feel so guilty for even having a job LOL.
My dog has toys and looks out the window, but I know there has to be someone who found something niche that keeps their dog entertained!
