Bumper was hanging off from his daughter hitting curbs / bottoming out so he cut it off.
He’s willing to let me get it inspected.
2 owners
Changed alternator 6 months ago and brakes a year ago.
Is telling me no mechanical issues or need for work in near future.
Worth it if inspection checks out?

Currently driving my tundra everywhere. Need a commuter car. Considering getting a used corolla or prius via marketplace. Would like to stay around $5500
Is this a smart approach or should i just buy new?
Can you give me examples of good deals as far as trim and miles within this price range assuming no mechanical issues (i know this is hard without knowing more so feel free to make assumptions.)i dont want to post every potentially good buy on here asking if its a good deal.
