At 6:51am this morning it was 46 degrees, and at 1:51pm it was 67 degrees, right now it is 4:37pm and it 74 degrees. Is it safe to run my PTAC wall unit AC for about 30 minutes to cool the room a bit, or was it too cold too recently? Renter who doesn't want to damage brand new PTAC unit.

Is the only rule of thumb as long as it is 65+ degrees outside, it's safe to run a PTAC unit on AC/cool Mode? Does recent low temperatures change anything like the scenario I gave in the title?

A question about modern rave culture wardrobe expectations.

Hey yall,

Old school raver (man) from 2000 here. Been going back to some shows and festivals and really felt out of place and cold shouldered for not dressing "rave trendy".

Just wondering if dressing a certain way is now kind of like an expectation if you want vibe with people.

When I was into the underground back from 1999-2005 people dressed however they wanted. Yea, we had kandy kids (I became one at the time), but we also had people dressed as rednecks, or G's, even a few people come dressed in business suits, like people just dressed however TF they wanted, and no one felt left out because of it.

But as an old man raver, I'm kinda getting the vibe now that to be more accepted as these shows, I need to start dressing like everyone else. Kinda lame if that is how it is, but give it to me straight. Is that how it is now? I tried looking online for rave clothes at shops people recommend here, and I just don't got money for this sh*t. Like $100 for a pair of pants? It's insane. Is this the new way of the rave culture? I just like to wear my cargo pants, hoodie, tshirt, and thats my regular show style. It's what I do. Nothing fancy like "pash" pants or whatever they are called. I dunno even know the name of all the stuff people accessorize with now.

How bad is this dryer lint basket housing? Should I just scoop out what I can with my finger and continue to use the dryer?

I'm debating whether or not to ask the landlord to have maintenance deep clean the lint dryer basket housing and chute, or not.

I've already had so many maintenance requests since moving in a week ago, I really don't want to bother them with this unless it really looks urgent, like could cause lint fire urgent. I don't want to be a needy/problematic tenant, and I need some solid advice on how bad this actually is, or if it's just my OCD acting up about a possible lint fire.

I live in an apartment complex. I will be putting in a maintenance request for this sink because just one of the handles wiggles (it's loose, it wiggles front to back), but it still is functional, and not leaking. Is this usually an easy and quick repair? Like just tightening a nut or screw underneath the sink? Or will they end up having to replace the whole faucet?

My dryer lint filter is no longer being manufactured. When it was the OEM part cost $90.

This site has it for sale for $33. Every other trusted site has it out of stock.

My main concern is buying it, and it melts in the dryer, because I am renting, and the current dryer lint filter is in really bad shape. I just don't want to damage the landlords dryer.

Advice?
