PC Black Screen Issue: Screens go black but everything keeps running in the background
Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what's slowly killing my PC. I'm not very tech-savvy but my partner helped me build it, and we actually have two identical builds but the difference is that only mine has this problem.
What happens is that the screens go completely black and the fans spin up very loudly, but everything keeps running in the background: games keep going, I can still hear audio, and people on Discord can still hear me. The only way to stop it is by forcing a shutdown by holding the power button.
It happens completely randomly and not just during gaming. Sometimes it happens right after booting the PC when opening a browser or a folder. It can go months without happening and then occur non-stop every time I restart it every few minutes, so there's no obvious trigger to it. It seems to maybe happen more often after drivers updates but, once again, it might be just a random coincidence.
What we've already tried:
- Reformatted the PC at least twice
- Swapped RAM sticks between slots and tested each stick individually but the issue persisted either way
- Disconnected and reattached all internal cables from scratch
- Replaced the GPU entirely but the issue still persists
- DDU uninstall and a fresh reinstall of drivers
PC Specs:

Any advice is hugely appreciated at this stage! Many thanks in advance
