Hey, I have an Alienware Aurora R7 with an i7-8700 and 460W PSU. Originally had a GTX 1080 installed. I bought a second-hand ASUS RTX 4060 8GB and installed it using the same 8-pin PCIe power cable as the old card. On startup the GPU fans spin briefly and then the Alienware logo blinks 5x amber. No display output at all. When I put the original GTX 1080 back in, everything works fine again.

I currently have 16GB DDR4-2666 RAM with two empty slots, planning to upgrade to 32GB. My monitor is an MSI G32CQ4 E2, 1440p 144Hz.

Has anyone experienced this with a modern GPU in the Aurora R7? Is the RTX 4060 compatible or is a special power adapter needed? Or would you recommend a different card for this monitor and setup

As a complete beginner, I have a question to get my bearings: I’m really torn between focusing my (secondhand) search on a TD-01KV or a TD-02KV. The 01 looks a bit more compact in terms of space usage in photos, although I don’t think the specs differ much when you factor in the stand, etc. Of course, the 01 has more cables (headphone/laptop connection). But other than that, I don’t see any major differences except for the price 😉 For a beginner, maybe the 01 is fine? (Unless I can find a 02 for the same price). Thanks!

As a complete beginner, I have a quick question: I can’t seem to figure out if the TD-01KV lets you play along to your own songs—like Metallica’s “Sad But True,” for example—or, even better, without a drum track, so you can fill in the drums yourself?

Thanks!

My physical therapists (two different ones) think I have patellofemoral pain syndrome in one knee. The symptoms started over a year ago, initially when climbing stairs. Their recommendation is stretching exercises (currently every day against a wall) plus leg presses and lifts at the gym. I’m taking paracetamol and using a diclofenac ointment. But here’s the thing: in recent weeks, the pain has mainly shifted to my thigh and calf muscles. After just 10 minutes of walking, I already feel severe cramping, and the same happens after cleaning the house, for example. The worst part is the intense pain and cramping at night in bed, especially in the upper calf muscle or hamstring (?). When I turn over, it sometimes feels completely locked up for a moment. I can’t find anything online about these side effects of patellofemoral pain syndrome... does anyone else have experience with this or any solutions? Thanks!
