Most common arguments and why it's a lie:
>"Looks open the door, but personality is what makes it last"
But your personality won't open the door, if you are getting rejected because of your looks, no one will pay attention to your personality.
>"Looks are subjective"
Even if you don't like Henry Cavill or Dua Lipa it doesn't mean they are ugly, and it works the other way, no one will find an objectively ugly person attractive, beautiness is 90% objective.
>"I wasn't initially attracted to their looks, but I eventually..."
Again, that means they are not ugly, you are not gonna waste your time with an ugly person to figure out the good traits they could have
>"I wouldn't date a pretty boy with an awful personality"
And that doesn't mean you would date an ugly person with a charismatic personality. You are mixing two different things here.
Of course there are a lot of stuff that matters for a relationship, but without the looks, no one will pay attention to any other thing the ugly has to offer.
One last secret: If you are struggling on dating apps, it's because of your looks, dating is not that hard, but it wasn't made for the ugly ones.
