Hey all, my girlfriend’s mom reached out to me asking me for a beginner camera that she plans on getting her for graduation. She said: “She doesn’t know what kind and I don’t know anything about cameras. What kind of camera is a good starting out camera that you think she would like? Probably just a good into camera to see if she likes it, so point and shoot. I think she will end up liking photography, so I guess the best way to go about it is to get the point and shoot, and if at some point in the future she decides she really likes photography, she could sell her camera on marketplace for a couple hundred to put towards a new better camera.”

I’m assuming she wants to keep it a surprise, so **I just wanted to reach out to see if you had any suggestions for a small, compact point and shoot camera under $500?** Thanks!

Hey all. I’m getting these cheap chinese footwell led lights for my car that are rechargeable via lithium ion batteries. I may be overthinking this, but **will keeping them in my car in the summer pose an issue to the batteries?** I live in the Midwest so summers can get up to 100°F and my car probably gets to 150°F if in direct sun. I’m aware li-ion batteries can swell or vent if improperly treated, so I’m just trying to prevent any unwanted damage.
