I struggle a lot with the heat, I own shorts but due to a medical condition my ankles swell and I think it looks really bad, so I'd rather keep them covered (and I don't want to wear compression socks with shorts, those do help but I think the combination doesn't look good in my case). I'd rather wear pants in the summer, but the pants I have for winter (mostly jeans) get too hot pretty fast. I'm going to browse for some more breathable pants, but I wanted to know if anyone had suggestions on pants that are good for the heat but still look nice. I've tried linen but hate the texture, and I'd rather they not be super loose. Not looking for anything super formal, just something to wear casually day to day. I usually wear t-shirts, maybe with a button-up over them for layering. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Lately, there’s been an influx of AI art from bot accounts looking for karma. On most art subs, you’d find rules banning this and they would be taken down quickly, but for some reason this sub lacks any regulations banning the posting of AI art despite being a sub oriented around non-AI art. I’ve messaged the mods about it but got no response. I understand there are more subs you can go to for art sharing, but what’s the point of leaving this one the wild west of “is it AI or not”?
