WHY DO SO MANY GUNS GO DOWN AT KALASHBASH?

Good general info for AK owners. Good info on KNS pistons and PSA at the end of the video. The gunsmith is a ak guru.

Life if good

Not to many things in life are this relaxing and satisfying. Loading some different 5.45x39 powder charges to find the one I like, all the while the thunderstorm rumbling in the background rain hitting the metal. My little four year old guy watching and taking it all in. Life is good and God is great!

Tumble media

I know probably no one tracks the number of tumbles they get from their media, but about how many uses do you get out of your media? I’ve switched to walnut over the years and now rarely have media stuck in the flash hole like I did with corncob. I use a little Lyman brass polish every few batches. I notice I get a lot of powder in the air when messing with tumbler. I’m wondering if maybe I’m just using my media too much in between changing it out. I’ve also wondered if the powder in the air is what is removed from the fired cases.
I’ve recently bought a wet tumbler. The once fired cases are often coming out looking like they’ve been sitting on the ground at a range for to long. They go in yellow brass and come out looking corroded and discolored. I only use a pinch of lemishine and 3 table spoons of dawn dish soap. If I put the brass that same brass in the dry tumbler after it comes out looking like new brass again. I haven’t quite mastered the wet tumbler yet.

So all that to say how long should I use my dry tumbler media? And what am I doing wrong with my Frankford arsenal wet tumbler?
