What is your Favorite Game from the main Pokémon series, and did you like or not its adaptation in the Anime?

I know this isn't directly related to anime, but it would be interesting to know if your favorite game had a good or bad adaptation in the anime in your opinion.

Whether it's their history or elements, for example.

A Lovely Moment Between Rei and Shinji 🩵💙

I don't know where the video originally came from, so if anyone knows, please put it in the comments.

In this event, our beloved protagonist finally appears in a video game of the franchise.

Here, alongside his faithful companion Pikachu, he arrives in the Pasio region where he is greeted by Scottie and Tina. After battling Team Break, he decides to participate in a tournament called the “Individual Master Cup”, where the winner will face the game's protagonist. This is something Ash hopes for after witnessing Scottie's strength in his battle against Team Break.

During this competition, some of the protagonists from the main games witness Ash's skill in battle, leaving them practically speechless at his prowess.

In addition to Red, Rosa, Selene and Gloria, who appear in the fourth image, Leaf, Nate, Elio, Hilbert and Hilda are also present (interestingly, the protagonists who have counterparts in the anime are not present, except for Red who is Ash, plus Victor and Calem for some reason). Also worth adding is that Jessie and James are in the game but have no interaction with Ash.

But a pleasant surprise is that Ash was able to defeat a legendary pokémon, Solgaleo, which is also the protagonist's pokémon, which is quite surprising, and it's very reminiscent of how he was able to defeat Tobias's Darkrai and Latios in the Sinnoh League.

But what is truly surprising is that Ash emerged victorious in this competition, defeating the game's protagonist, being the only character in the entire game to have done so, something that no other character has done and which also leaves him as one of the few characters who has been able to defeat an avatar canonically (speaking of the game of course).

And upon witnessing Ash's strength in battle, his counterpart Red addresses him, expressing his desire to fight him in the future. This is only the second time Red has spoken, a testament to Ash's undeniable talent.

Finally, a very curious fact is that, although this Ash is from his Journeys version, he has not yet participated in the Eight Masters Tournament (therefore, he has not become world champion), which demonstrates how broken Ash really is, since he didn't even need his most powerful version to achieve great feats in this game.

In my opinion, the only league Ash should have won besides the Alola League was the Sinnoh League.

Because, as everyone knows, this was practically the culmination of Ash's evolution up to that point, both as a person and as a pokémon trainer. Throughout the Diamond and Pearl season, he proved he was a worthy winner, even defeating Paul, who almost always seemed superior to him. Ash practically had this competition in the bag, so much so that the writers had to invent a blatant plot device called Tobias to prevent him from winning.

Now, why do I believe Ash didn't deserve to win the other Pokémon Leagues? For the following reasons:

Kanto League: Here Ash did not deserve to win since he was not a good trainer (mainly demonstrated by Charizard), if Ash had won his evolution and development would have been very poor.

Johto League: There was a significant improvement in his performance here, as he defeated his rival Gary, but he relied too heavily on Charizard in crucial moments and didn't adequately train his Johto region pokémon. Furthermore, I honestly believe his defeat against Harrison was one of the fairest, given how evenly matched the fight was. This also demonstrated that Ash still had much to learn and improve, especially after encountering pokémon he had never seen before.

Hoenn League: I feel that several aspects I mentioned earlier about the Johto League weren't improved in this League, as his pokémon weren't fully trained, which hampered him considerably. However, this improved later in the Battle Frontier arc.

Unova League: I won't elaborate much here, because as we all know, this is where Ash's memory reset happened, and he forgot everything he learned before. I'll just say that it would have been better if he had lost to someone more worthy, or at least better.

Kalos League: Finally, regarding the controversial Kalos League, I must say that Ash didn't deserve to win. First, he relied primarily on Pikachu and Greninja in all his battles, which is strange since he demonstrated a balanced team throughout the season. Second, his team, with the exception of Pikachu and Greninja, wasn't well-trained, as Noivern and Goodra didn't contribute much. And third, his opponent was significantly stronger than him; Alain was able to face Pokémon stronger than Ash-Greninja and won most of the time, so his defeat didn't seem like a plot device to me. To be honest, this loss and his defeat against Harrison seem like the fairest ones.
