I got into an argument with a Reishin hater on Twitter, and we touched on everyone's favorite topic: incest. And I thought: what if Asuka is closer to Shinji genetically than Rei? Let me explain: Rei has 50% of Lilith's genes, which is essentially an alien monster. So, Rei is at least 50% xenos. You get it, right? Also, I don't think anyone mentioned in Eva how much of Yui's genes Rei has. And what does "Shinji's mother's clone" even mean? People are 99.99% related, while Rei is half-alien. So, a Reishin fan isn't a fan of incest, he's a fan of xenophilia. The Emperor doesn't approve, so why haven't all the Reishin haters grabbed bolters and chainswords yet?
Upd: i watched Eva too long ago so maybe I'm just schizophrenik

So I've read like 8 Rei×Shinji fics at this point and I need a break from the Pain.
Yes, I know asking slice of life from Evangelion is crime. But goddammit I just want to see these traumatized kids do normal people shit for once. Let them get ice cream. Let them argue about movie choices. Let them exist without the weight of humanity's survival on their shoulders, you feel me?
Bonus points if Asuka is just.... (Look, I have beef with narcissistic characters in general, it's a whole thing. No hate to her fans but she can sit this one out.)
