Why do people judge us and tell us that “we haven’t met the right person” or that we are “just really introverted”, when they can shut the fuck up and mind their own business?

Context: I used to know this guy for 7 years, and we were classmates for the entirety of high school and literally grew up together, despite the fact he is a conservative christian.
I came out to him as an asexual a year ago, and he seemed to accept me at first.
But then, this January, he had this conversation with a far-right friend of him.
Let’s just say, he is not my friend anymore.
