Which university is better for international development?

I got into three universities, University of Sussex with scholarship, SOAS and university of Manchester. I want to do a course in environment, policy and development. I know that Sussex is ranked 1, but my friends are telling me that Brighton might not have much job opportunities. SOAS is ranked 2 but London is really expensive. I’m having a hard time making a decision. I want a course that probably has the best value overall.

I’m not sure if I want to work or get into academia. Also, before you all tell me it’s a dying field I know but I’m not entirely sure If my plans are to work in the UK as well. I want jobs more in islands cause I’m passionate about marine conservation.

My_qualifications:

IDS at Sussex university

I got into Ma development, environment and policy at Sussex. I’m an international student and I was wondering about how good employability is after graduating! Any information would be super helpful.

It would also be amazing if I could connect with someone who graduated in this field!

Also, I’ve done my bachelors and masters in social work already.

Should I just cancel my college offer letters?

I had finished my bachelors and masters in social work & I was hoping to go to Netherlands. ISS, in international development but after looking at this subreddit I feel so discouraged.

I was hoping to get into a program manager role in an NGO or something related to ESG. But, now I’m super doubtful. I got in Sussex with scholarship (Ma development, environment & policy) & Manchester uni (MSC global development).

Should I just cancel it overall and look for an other field?

Picking a course in Master of International Development

I am so conflicted between picking ISS Hague, MA international development located in Netherlands or between picking MSc Global Development, Manchester Uni in the UK.

What do you think would be better? I tried researching but I still feel so very conflicted and confused. Any sort of help in aiding me pick a course would be super insightful!

For your info, I finished my bachelors and masters in social work and I hopefully want to work with international organizations.
