MegaBrick Generic Football Player
Do you look at the MegaBrick models, particularly the sports teams ones, and think "It'd be great if someone would do my team, maybe I'll do it sometime." And then you never do.
Now you can and it's really easy.
Simply print the generic player and obtain a picture of the shirt front you need.
Then go to the Image To Keychain utility on Makerworld and convert the image.
Clean up the image by selecting stray colours and changing them.
Resize to slightly larger than the front part (76mm by 64mm).
Set the Plate thickness to 5mm, the image thickness to 1mm, the background colour to whatever you're printing the torso as and select facedown mode.
Then download and open the .3mf
Save the negative part as an stl from plate 8 of the generic model then load that as a negative part to the “keychain”, position, preview and print.
Any team in any professional or amateur league, printed.
I've done the England and Scotland strips, the England keeper strip too. I'll add more in the next few weeks, I've got my kids team done already. Any requests or maybe you'd prefer to do yours yourself...
