Designed my own screen door doggy flap for my big dog and now you can too!
All the ready-to-buy door flaps were either too small or too pricey. Decided to design and print my own. Total size measures 14"W x17"D
I'm new to 3d modelling (and printing), this is my first functional model. It would be a fun learning project to create this as a parametric design for future iterations. Would love any constructive feedback on how to improve!
New to 3D printing
So i have this city model , and i want it printet in the 3 colors as shown. But I want to cut in half one particular building ( the one in blue in second photo) , so i go to the cut tool, adjust the high then right click the other tall buildings that i dont want to be cut, and after i perform the cut everything turn green and in one color (photo 3).
When i do the cut WITHOUT right clicking the other tall buildings the cut perform good it keeps the original color, but when I leave only the blue building it all goes green after the cut

Happy Tuesday!
Is makerworld subreddit becoming a toxic comunity?
Or are my and others models bad?
first milestone
I guess this could be celebrated asa first milestone. Thank you Makerworld! However it makes harder to count how many downloads i have had :D
Looking for someone to add print profiles to my models
I don't currently own a Bambu Lab printer, so I can't upload them myself. Would anyone be willing to upload a few profiles? They're small, quick prints - two hooks and a parametric cable organiser, each under 10g and about an hour of print time. Thanks!
My first design - Parametric, modular wall shelves that fold up into art :)

Let me know what you guys think! This is my first design - I definitely struggled putting together a short but useful description. Any tips to improve future models, or visibility? It's a weird feeling spending 2 weeks figuring out all of the fine tuning to make something come to life, and then getting no feedback when it goes live on makerworld ^^.
Created those AeroFin mug sleeves!
I wanted something that looked organic but served a real purpose. The fins create a natural air gap so you don't burn your hands, and it prints perfectly without any supports. The handle version is a nice addon for those long walks with a hot latte.
I screwed up
Let me first say I'm new to 3d printing this is my first device, it's a Bambulabs a1, i only print from the maker world. Yesterday while printing a big blob of plastic got stuck to the nozzle, i removed it by pulling it hard now there is some wires protruding out from behind the nozzle, I don't know what I did and I want to know is there anything I should do
Please help
Update: Everyone thank you for all the suggestions and ideas, I got the hotend assembly replaced, thanks a lot for all advice
Making an iPhone charging stand with my cutoffs
I picked my first CNC router a couple months back for a larger project but I'm having more fun designing and making little stuff like this iPhone charging stand. All those hardwood scraps I've been hanging onto are now viable for so many different ideas. For this one I used some Walnut and iZombe I had laying around after making wood covered journals.
Been a while since i uploaded any silhouettes, decided to go with tracks this time
Temple Tealight
I wanted a tealight, but never found Christian in the Bear. So, I made it! Pretty proud of myself 🌞🧸🔥💐😊
This is a gauge I made to quickly count the teeth on cheap assorted packs of module 0.5 spur gears
I purchased these gears for a few different projects and got sick of manually counting the teeth quickly, so made this. I just used a Sharpie marker over the top of the text to make it stand out more.

Built a cup holder + phone stand for my desk for the cup holder contest
Started with "I need somewhere to put my coffee that isn't just another coaster"
Ended up making a desk setup that combines:
• Deeper cup holder for better stability
• Mug handle cutout
• Phone stand
• Small tray area for random desk stuff (keys, earbuds, sticky notes....but mostly holds my small fidgets and prickly crap)
I went through a few revisions because my first phone stand wanted to reenact a trust fall every time I put my phone in it, so I adjusted the stand angle and reworked the layout until it behaved.
Pretty happy with where it ended up.

Would love feedback or ideas for V2 if anyone has any thoughts. I'm literally only two months into owning a 3d printer and March 14th was the first day I ever opened Fusion :-|
Modular cable-tensioned tabletop for LEGO storage bricks
I designed a modular 3D printed tabletop that turns storage bricks into a small functional table.
The tabletop is made from multiple PETG HF panels. A 2 mm stainless steel cable runs through a channel around the outer edge and is tensioned with an M8 bolt and nut. Once tightened, the whole plate becomes surprisingly rigid and stable for daily use.
The neon green elliptical inserts are printed in TPU and help guide/secure the cable path during assembly.
It is a multi-part print, but the assembly is pretty straightforward: arrange the panels, insert the TPU parts, thread the cable, tension it, and place the finished tabletop on the storage bricks.

Would love to hear what you think, especially about the cable-tensioning approach.

I made 3D printable "Coloring Panels" – a fun way to combine printing and art for kids (and adults!)
I’ve been working on a series of 3D printable coloring panels designed to be a more tactile alternative to paper coloring books! They are great for fine motor skill practice for kids or just a therapeutic mindfulness activity for adults.
I’ve put together a full collection of different designs (dinosaurs, creatures, etc.) if you want to check them out:
I made a few accessory pieces for my Super Mario Bros. action figures!
I just uploaded a few free models to makerworld to accompany my Super Mario Bros. Action figures. I made the question mark block, the coin, and the mushroom and have some WIP pieces that should be posted soon also!
