My vision of Borderlands in InfinityScale Mode!
Sketch: “Borderlands at the Park”
Sunday morning in the park. Everything is peaceful.
Suddenly four guys with VR headsets go completely crazy.
Marco: “Let’s go, Vault Hunters! Time to tear shit up!”
The four of them start sprinting across the grass like maniacs, shooting, jumping, and throwing invisible grenades while screaming at the top of their lungs.
Nonna Maria: “Giuseppe, look at these four… they’re destroying the park!”
Nonno Peppino: “Leave them alone, they’re just kids.”
A moment later Marco yells:
Marco: “Vehicles incoming! Two Technicals! Everybody to the benches!”
The four guys run to the two benches and split up. Two drive, two stand up in the back like gunners.
The drivers make loud engine noises and swerve wildly, while the two standing on the benches start throwing grenades left and right, screaming:
“GRENADE! GRENADE! TAKE THIS! AND THIS ONE TOO!”
Marco: “Sharp turn! Hold on tight!!!”
All four of them lean hard to one side, nearly falling off the benches.
Nonna Maria (panicking): “Giuseppe! Giuseppe! I’m calling the carabinieri!”
Nonno Peppino (watches the scene, sighs and says):
“Carabinieri? Forget the carabinieri, Maria…
Call the Army. We’re gonna need backup.”
Everyone bragging about their “big rooms” with 5x5 or 6x6 meters like they’ve discovered fire.
I go outside and use an entire industrial area. I walk, I run, and I move freely for hundreds of meters while playing in VR. When I reach the end of a path, I just rotate the virtual world with the right stick and keep walking — I never have to stop.
My brain has already accepted that the real world is just a surface to walk on. Everything else happens inside the game.
This is the real difference between people doing roomscale in a room and people doing actual Infinity Scale.
Here’s how it looks live:

Anyone else playing like this outside four walls?
