I've never bought a brand-new car in my life before this and I'm about to make a little road trip so I have some questions. I bought a 2026 Trax around the beginning of March and I love it so far... no issues.
On Saturday, I'll definitely be passing 2,000 miles, and on Sunday I'll be driving ~700 miles (with a ~700 mile return a week or so later). So I'm looking at being at ~3500+ miles by the 17th or 18th.
Should I put oil in it right now? All I've done so far is put gas in it and keep it clean. I realize when I get back I should schedule my first maintenance, but should I do anything before I head out on this trip? I'm probably just being paranoid. Never had a car this new before. Thanks!
