PS Store Refund Policy EXTREMELY Disappointing

There is this certain game mechanic. Button mashing. I am physically unable to press the button fast enough due to physical disability. When I encounter it, my game is OVER FOREVER, seeing as how I'll never be able to overcome and advance. The game becomes a digital paperweight. I'll AVOID buying certain games for this, and I already have a few games that I'll never get to play.

About ½hr ago, I bought The Order: 1886. Button mashing is necessary in the early part of the game, but the only way to find this out is to download and play the damned thing which is against refund policy. So now I'm stuck with ANOTHER game that can't be played

Rules are different depending on where you are, so I'm in New Brunswick, Canada.

My wife (57f) and I (52m) have 2 borders. Both are older, but one significantly so (late 70's) and he's been showing increasing signs of dementia over the last few months. He's lived with us for about 5 years, and we know nothing about his surviving family. I guess my question is how do we handle this? What is the best way for us to navigate this for his sake as well as ours? Are there any rights or responsibilities that we should be aware of?

Whenever I send an email request to myself, it doesn't actually allow me to change the password. Just enter email again, get the request, click the link and go back to where you enter your email address. Help?
