People thinking California is just LA and SF.

It is so much more than those two places. A LOT of California is rural, and the lifestyles and cultures are pretty varied between different regions. We have the coast, desert, mountain ranges, lots of agriculture fields, etc...

Reddit is not a good place to learn about other cultures because most Reddit users fall under the umbrella "Redditor" culture.

There are plenty of subreddits where you can ask people from other parts of the world questions about their culture. What ends up happening is you get answers that have been run through the same smug/angry/immature/aggressive filter that most other comments go through on this website. For example, if you go to the "AskMexico" subreddit to ask a question about Mexican culture, you will most likely get an answer from a Redditor who happens to be Mexican rather than a Mexican that happens to be on Reddit.

I hate when they congest the street and play chicken with cars while wobbling from side to side on one wheel. If they crash into a car, guess who will likely get punished or sued? The driver, who is actually supposed to be on the road. I get nervous when I see people doing wheelies on their bike towards me because I don't want my life to be ruined against my will. The worst thing is, the police don't enforce against it and drivers can be victims to a bike takeover at any time. It's annoying and I can't wait for that fad to go out of style.

The quality and price of the food at In-N-Out is unmatched by any other fadt food joint in California. I understand many of you will say you don't like In-N-Out or that it's overrated. That's fine, but that's besides the point. I'm strictly talking price/quality.

Is anyone out here really eating tenders with no dipping sauce? Would they not be too dry? I think the whole concept of Raising Cane's tenders is that you dip them in the Cane's sauce, so it makes sense to me that the tenders themselves wouldn't be heavily seasoned. I'm Mexican American, so I love spices and seasonings (and lemon) on everything, but I think Raising Cane's is good just how it is because I always plan to dip the tenders in the sauce. Please share your thoughts!

Many on this website are boycotting Ella Langley as they suspect she is MAGA. They were hoping Kacey Musgrave's new album (Middle of Nowhere) would come in and outperform Ella Langley's album (Dandelion).

I've given both albums a listen, and with all politics aside, I much prefer Ella Langley's new album. To be more exact, I really like Ella Langley's new album and I actually don't care for Kacey Musgrave's new album.

I feel like KM's album sounds like pop minus the sliding guitar. EL'S album actually sounds unapologetically country. All the songs on "Middle of Nowhere" sound pretty similar while "Dandelion" has more variation.

What do you guys think? Do you care about an artist's personal/political beliefs or do you separate the artist from the art? I for one thought it was common sense to presume country artists are likely conservative. I'm not sure what Ella Langley's former fans were expecting. I don't think I will listen to "Middle of Nowhere" again, but I will continue enjoying "Dandelion."

I listened to her new album "Dandelion" and thoroughly enjoyed it even though people online are upset she followed Charlie Kirk on TikTok. I'm not a Republican or MAGA, but her music is really good and doesn't have any political messaging, so I will continue to enjoy it.
