KP or hair roots?

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to figure out if the dots/texture on my lower legs are KP or just visible hair follicles. I have naturally dark brown to black leg hair and I’m generally very hairy, so I’m not sure if it’s just the hair roots showing through the skin. I only shave and have never had laser hair removal. I do have KP on my upper thighs and arms though, which is why I’m wondering if it could also be KP on my lower legs. Has anyone experienced something similar?

How bad is it?

I developed KP on my underarms one year ago and I hope it doesn’t look as bad as it looks to me. I can’t go out with a T-shirt or anything which isn’t long sleeve cause if I’m in the sun, my arms will get really red and I’ve tried everything like glycolic acid, Amlactin, salicylic acid . And the KP on my tights I have since forever. I also feel like shaving makes it look more obvious.

Irreversible Rosacea?!

Can a flare up become constant redness?! my skin feels hot and burning since seven days and I haven’t managed to cool it down even though I’m using like cool packs! To be honest I think it’s more like a damaged skin barrier because everything burns the fuck out of me! on some days I had even water ruining the face and keeping it more red?! I feel like I’ve missed my skin up, using too many products. Also, this flair only appears on the left side of my cheek. I never had a flare lasting this long. My normal cheek would be not like this. It would be like a baseline redness but nothing like this.

Gave me the worst flare up

I honestly don’t understand how some people can recommend this product. This moisturizer gave me the worst flush of my entire life. I keep hearing people say it’s supposed to be “the best cream” for sensitive skin 💀absolutely not.

My skin barrier is now so damaged that I can’t even put water on my face without it burning like fire. Every single thing burns. This cream was a complete nightmare for my skin.

Is this considered type 2? Help needed

Guys help me out I need to know if this is type 1 or type 2? Also noticed my left side is more sensitive and reactive than my right side is. Has anyone else noticed that one side can be more reactive? Idk what to do anymore.

WHICH LASER TYPE1? HELP!

People keep mentioning IPL, VBeam, BBL, Excel V etc. and I honestly have no idea where to even start 😭
For those of you with Type 1 rosacea (mainly flushing + persistent baseline redness, NOT broken capillaries or bumps/pustules), which laser actually helped you the most?
My biggest issues are:
intense flushing
constant background redness
skin feeling hot/reactive
I don’t really have visible veins or acne-like rosacea.
I keep hearing:
VBeam = gold standard
Excel V = better for flushing?
IPL/BBL = better for diffuse redness?
But then everyone says something different. Would love to hear REAL experiences, especially from people who mainly struggle with flushing rather than capillaries.
Which one gave you the biggest improvement? How bad was the downtime? And did it actually calm the flushing itself or only reduce visible redness?”

Centella Clay Stick for Rosacea Skin? Skincare help needed

I just saw a lot of reviews about the Centella clay stick mask. And I looked it up and it actually has great ingredients. Now I want to know has anyone with rosacea tried it yet? Does it really helps with pores? Because our rosacea skin can’t take BHA like salicylic acid it can make things worse so I’m very desperate to get rid of my pores.

Hi everyone,
I’ve honestly avoided sunscreen for a long time because my skin reacts to almost everything. But I keep hearing people say that switching to a mineral sunscreen made a huge difference for their rosacea, so I really want to give it a try now.
The problem is: my skin is EXTREMELY sensitive. When I say sensitive, I mean rosacea-safe and acne-safe. I’m very acne-prone, and a lot of products either break me out, make me flush, or cause burning/stinging.
My skin type is also confusing because my T-zone gets oily, but my cheeks are dry and irritated easily. So I need something that:
is mineral/physical sunscreen
works for rosacea-prone skin
won’t clog pores or trigger acne
is fragrance-free if possible
doesn’t feel super greasy or heavy
ideally doesn’t leave a horrible white cast
I’ve never really used mineral sunscreen before, so I feel overwhelmed by all the options.
What mineral sunscreens have ACTUALLY worked for your rosacea/sensitive skin? Especially if you also deal with acne-prone or combination skin.
Thank you 🥹

Will ivermectin help with my type 1 flush? I hear so many people saying flush may happen due to the mites. But I’m not sure whether to start or not. I heard ivermectin can be very harsh when first starting. I’m scared.

Guys you might don’t see a huge difference between those two pictures but first is my left side of the face and the other one is the right side. The left side of my face is burning since almost 4 days no matter what I put on my face it’s getting irritated! It feels constantly hot as if some kind of inflammation is underneath it. The right side feels completely normal as always. I never had a “flush” lasting this long! Trying to cool it with ice packed in, NO! Light weight barrier cream, NO! Nothing. I don’t know how to cool it down.
But I need help!

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using a 15% azelaic acid gel (Encube), but I keep seeing so many people rave about Finacea.

Is there actually any real difference between the two, or is it just hype? Since they’re both 15%, I’m wondering if the results should be the same, or if the formulation/vehicle really makes a noticeable difference.

I have sensitive, rosacea-prone skin, so texture and irritation matter a lot to me.

Would love to hear your experiences!

Have you noticed fragrance can be a HUGE trigger? Idk why but every time I smell a strong scent or fragrance I immediately get a flush and I hate wearing perfumes!

What laser actually gave you the BEST results for rosacea?

I keep hearing completely different opinions:
BBL / IPL
Excel V
Vbeam
PDL
And now even newer options like the 577nm Yellow Laser…

For those who’ve ACTUALLY done it:

- Which one helped most with persistent redness/flushing?
- How long was your downtime really?
- Were you swollen, bruised, or back to normal quickly?
- Did your skin feel calmer after healing, or did you still experience internal heat/flushing?
- Did laser reduce just visible redness, or also that constant “hot face” feeling?

I’d especially love to hear from people with Type 1 / vascular rosacea.

So many clinics claim THEIR laser is the best, but real patient experiences seem very mixed.

Would you choose the same laser again? Or wish you’d gone with something else?

How do you guys exfoliate? Especially your chin and nose? I’m talking about the black pores which are not black heads! I know salicylic acid BHA is the best one but I feel like it’s nothing for Rosacea! It makes my skin even worse.

I’ve been using 15% azelaic acid gel, and it has definitely helped reduce my flushing episodes. However, I still struggle with persistent residual redness. From what I’ve read so far, most positive experiences with Ivermectin (Soolantra) seem to be from people with Type 2 rosacea (papules/pustules).

I’m specifically wondering if anyone with Type 1 (vascular/erythematotelangiectatic) rosacea has had success with Soolantra for baseline redness or flushing. Did it help with persistent redness, or is it mainly effective for inflammatory symptoms?

I’d really appreciate hearing about personal experiences, especially from those with vascular rosacea. What about the purging is it as bad as everyone’s saying?
