I hear different things, i thought marantz would be the abvous choise because it has warm sound. But many people i speak to swear by the onkyo, so i would like more input. I like to turn the volume really loud, and the horn kills mye ears. But supposedly with dirac live the onkyo will be just as kind to my ears as the marantz, because one can fix the treble with s nice roll off and also boost the bass, much better than just doing it with the treble knob.

Im leaning torwards the onkyo because of all the people i speak to that really love it for the punchy bass and forward mids.

I like punchy bass but in my current setup my ears bleed😆

(I got parasound poweramp), i get ear fatuige thats why im leaning torwards marantz, but the salesguy says onkyo vil not be any harsher than marantz after dirac calibration, idk. And says the rz is more punchy and fun

I have power amp parasound 2125, but soon the 2250amp on my rf83, paired with rp1600 and rc64.

I like to listen loud, to get good bass, and to my understanding the rz70 is very dynamic and punchy.

But i get ear fatuige from the horns, and tinnitus. Thats why im leaning torward marantz. I guess i would use dirac with both, but i would problably listen without also a bit for fun.

Have anyone tried both? I dont have the option to hear them. Currently running yamaha advantage 3020.

I was going to go for marantz but the place im buying from says it wont help mye problem much more than than the onkyo will afrer dirac🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

If it matters, the 2channal stero matters more than when i watch movies. And its mostly rock and psytrance i listen to. Rock sucks in my room now so i hope dirac will fix that.
