NW-E505 Battery wires

So I’ve come to a conclusion that I’ll have to swap the battery out of my NW-E505 but I heard I’d need to solder the wires to the connector(?) of the battery. How would I go about that? Itll be my first time soldering so I don’t really know what I’ll be doing. I’ve seen one battery with the connector pre-installed to the wires, unfortunately it ships out from Japan and I don’t wanna risk getting high cost tarrifs. Could I re-use my connector for the new battery wires? And where and how do I solder the wires?

NW-E505 Not turning on

When I first got it in the mail and hooked it up to charge, it was working fine, the screen turned on and everything, I unplugged it a few minutes later to see what was on there, still working, and then I put it back on the charger and the screen just went blank, it doesn’t react when I put it on the charger or when I press buttons on it, it’s not the charger since I tried it on my other mp3s and it charges them just fine. Whenever I connect it to my computer it seems to detect some sort of device connecting to it but it can’t identify it, sometimes the screen turns on momentarily on the charging screen, but it then flickers off after a short period of time, I’m unsure of what to do. Do I need to change the battery perhaps?

I know this a bit random but, My friend asked for a 2009 calendar for her birthday, I’ve searched high and low and I can’t seem to find any she would seem to like, she really likes cutesy anime with the “Moe” artstyle, I’ve seen some really cute ones but they’re pretty pricey for me, so I’ve come here in hopes that I’d find someone who has any
