i bought the used "3ds new" and when i got it and tried to update it and connect to the internet, this happened, is there anyway to fix this or reset it?

I accidentally spelt a thick hot drink on my 3ds. I cleaned as much as I could, the touch screens and controls are still working fine but whenever I’d let go of them it would do things on its own like swipe all the way to the left side of the menu and I don’t know how to fix it. Do I need to open it up and clean the motherboard too?

So I just got the special edition 3ds and I been trying to be careful while playing this beauty

my little collection is growing… i might reshell the pink dsi and the blue ds (hinge break) but that wont be for awhile.

What do you think? The stickers are from my last visit to Japan 🩷

after struggling to find a proper upper screen replacement, I DID IT. IT'S ALIIIIVE!!! (even the LED still works, lol) It surely took time and a lot of sweat and blood but holy heck, what a good relief :D

(although, the start button doesn't work now... but that's an easy fix, so i'll do it later cause i'm tired)

As a kid I always wanted a 3DS, and here I am! thanks to Santiago who sold it to me for like 120 dollars (and to his brother, because I think he stole it from him)

Just bought this for $300 from a local guy, not the best deal but had regular new 3Ds xl and wanted a special edition one

my dumbass self dropped my 3ds and the hinge with the led broke off. other than that it seems to work completely fine i don’t have any issues with the hinge anymore

ig this is my sign to buy a case

Took my 3ds to 4 different repair shops, first three couldn’t do anything, last one was able to pry the casing off for further repairs.

Anyways, the screw is still there, but I just can’t for the life of me get this thing out, even with both sides exposed now. It wobbles and stuff, but I’m unable to twist it with tweezers.

Anyone have a similar experience and fix it?

Got some very heavy rain today, which soaked my 3ds case and a bit of it leaked to the console. The console seems fine, though I noticed there's a slightly bulge on one of the sides of this battery. Really would rather not buy another battery...
