I already had gotten a small mark on the top side of my screen several months ago but didn't pay attention to it. However I got multiple similar marks of varying shapes just today out of nowhere. Is this simply a result of the screen getting old or the battery pushing against it/bloating?

I'm in the market for an audio/mp3 player as I'm trying to get rid of spotify and collect CDs to play in my car and rip to my computer. I've seen this on facebook marketplace, and thought I'd come here to ask if this is any good, and for the pricepoint of $175 AUD or about $120 USD. Ideally I'd get it for less, hopefully about $125(ish) AUD
I'm by no means an audiophile, but I do suspect that in time 12gb may not be enough. I just want something that I can take anywhere and rip my CDs and mp3 bootlegs off my laptop onto this. Not fussed at all about bluetooth either.
If it means anything of importance all my music is stored in windows media player.

hi! im not tech savvy like at all but i recently got my hands on a walkman with a battery that doesnt hold a charge. i got in contact with a repairs shop which said they could replace it as long as i provided the new battery.. i did a bit of digging but id like confirmation/ a safe link if anyone knows any for reputable sellers that have these batteries for sale! thank you :)
Could I buy a bunch of CD-R’s, burn them and they’ll play on my D-E220?
Also, how do I burn “CD audio track” files onto my CD?
Maybe it’s because I tried it on a DVD-R, but my burner just burned it as mp3 even in the DVD itself, not “DVD audio track” or something,
Or is that just something in ROMs?

Hello! I was hoping to find someone who's had to take apart one of these bad boys before. I've found that my music only plays when at a very specific angle and even then its on and off. My audio port seems to be loose
im hoping to fix it because I've heard that it might need to just be sodered. I've found a dismantling guide from Sony but it doesnt specify how to actually take out the hold button (which h of course is step one :p) and I dont want to just tear it out

Does anyone have a source for replacement foam for the MDR-1 headphones? They came with the WM-4 originally, I have a very very mint, just fully serviced example which I'd like to be able to use the headphones with, but the foam is long gone unfortunately.
I can't seem to find any for this model online, but I'm pretty sure they were black foam pieces based on a catalogue I've seen.
Any help is greatly appreciated :)
