Hi all!

I’m I’m looking to start up a long term RP based around a superhero academy!

Plot(s): Over the past 100 years or so, humans have begun to develop strange powers at varying levels of potency. Custodians are those who have been able to control and harness their powers well enough with good intentions to protect civilians from those who intend to cause harm. Custodian Academy is where bright young heroes-to-be go to work with existing Custodians in bettering themselves!

Existing as a worldwide association, Custodian Academy has facilities across the globe, with the focus of this RP being in Upstate Maine, USA. There has been a recent increase in intake for the facilities due to a spike in superpower-backed criminal activity— some facilities having been attacked themselves. The Headmaster hopes to train up a strong enough force with the new wave of academy members, led by the existing small force already.

It’s pretty nondescript so far! (Background wise anyway). I plan on having attacks to the facility occur and eventually result in the capture of a student. I have information about a fair amount students and professors, but I’d like the amount of students per facility to be relatively low (for the sake of me tracking them all ;_;).

Given that I’ll be controlling multiple characters, I’ll be writing in 3rd person, but I don’t have any preferences on your choice! This *will* be my first time GMing for an RP, but I’ll be taking notes of information as everything passes and doing my best to not overwhelm you with to many characters at once! Letting me know which characters you prefer yours to interact with as the story progresses would likely help as well!

I generally write a few paragraphs per reply, but given that I’ll be setting up a lot of background information, I will likely be doing more than normal. Of course it’s a scene to scene thing, so for more dialogue focused bits I won’t be writing fluff just to increase length. I work 5 days a week, so please be patient with my replies, I will do my best to get at least one out a day, and hopefully more on my off-days if our schedules line up!
