Hi! So I usually read really dark type books. I do enjoy standard fantasy romance and thrillers and horrors. But I was kind of having that itch for a really dark or messed up book. It doesn't even have to necessarily be romance, its just preferred. I just want something good. It can be spicy, but I need a good plot to go with it if it is lol There are a few new ones I've seen that I think I might like, but I wanted to get some recommendations first.

Thank you!

So, I need to preface this by saying I don't really know much about PC gaming aside from the Rollercoaster Tycoon series and Resident Evil 4 lol BUT my partner loves it so I'm trying to find something that interests me. Our desks are side by side and it's a way for us to kind of spend time together.

That being said, I have a few android games I really enjoy playing and would like to find some similar PC games.

I like things like Dawn of Zombies, Grim Soul, Last Day on Earth, State of Survival, Fallout Shelter, Viking Rise, etc. Pretty much anything survival, shelter/base (or civilization/territory) building, crafting, farming, etc.

I've been suggested Dysmantle, so that one is on the list!

I would prefer games that don't involve other people being able to infiltrate and steal/destroy my things 🫣 and something that isn't *extremely* difficult, as I am relatively new and not great at gaming lol

(I know there is a way to play Google play games on my PC, but it won't work on mine for some reason, unfortunately)

Hi! I have a question. My husband wants to do this whole process with me (he's not getting the surgery yet due to insurance) but he wants to go on the pre op, post op, and maintenance diets with me. I'll be responsible for our liquids, meals, etc. But I don't really know what he needs to consume to still be okay while doing this. I know he'll need at least 100g protein but not sure how to plan for him to make sure he's safe. I plan on asking my nutritionist at my next visit for some quick guidelines, but I wanted to see if any experiences would help guide me in the right direction. I'm so grateful to have this level of support and I just want to make sure we do this right!

Thank you!

So, I am the absolute worst when it comes to planning and organization (my mom was the same way) and out of all of my fears for my July 1st surgery, I think this is the thing I'm panicking about the most! Lol I have to set multiple alarms for literally everything, 5-15 mins apart (I'm also ADHD if that makes it any better) and I've always been the kind of person that gets distracted until I'm super hungry, then I eat all the things within arms reach that are quick and provide instant gratification 😬 (I'm addressing my relationship with food with my therapist who I see twice a week) Now, I'm going to HAVE to plan - at least my food. I'm trying to get in the habit of it now so it's not yet another shock to my body when the time comes, but I have no idea where to start.

Should I download apps? Any apps that are better than others?

I'm using the Baritastic app to track my meals, but I wish there was an app for squirrel brained bariatric patients lmao

Also, meal prep? Do you set aside one full day and cook all your food for the week? I have issues trying to figure out what to eat for dinner most days 😂 I can't imagine planning out a week at a time!

I can spend hours pinning recipes to Pinterest, but then I fail at planning ahead for those meals! 🫣

Any tips?
