South Goa resorts with swimming pool recommendations

We are a group of 5 females visting goa for the first time and need recommendation for good resort stay with swimming pool (and indoor activities if possible) in south goa near palolem or agonda or cabo de rama. Our budget is around 5k per night for one room.

I found some of beach resorts but most of the resort in this price range does not have good reviews.

Goa trip 27 May - 30 May

Planning a family trip to Goa on the above mentioned dates and would love some suggestions from people who’ve done a similar mix of North + South Goa.

We’ll be landing at North Goa airport and departing from South Goa airport.

We’re interested in:

  • Water activities / adventure sports
  • A peaceful, family-friendly resort stay
  • Good food
  • Easy local commute options

I’ve read mixed opinions about water activities in Goa. Some people say North Goa is best for jet skiing, parasailing, banana rides, etc., while South Goa is better for relaxing and staying at serene resorts. We’d ideally like to experience both.

Would love suggestions on the following:

  1. Are water activities really worth it in North Goa? Mainly wanna do parasailing and kayaking, guess this can be done in South Goa as well?
  2. What would be the ideal itinerary?
  • Stay 1 night in North Goa for water activities and then 2 nights in South Goa?
  • Or stay entirely in South Goa and make a day trip to North Goa for activities?
  • Open to any better route suggestions as well.
  1. Resort recommendations (Rs 5k / per night) Looking for family-friendly resorts with:
  • Peaceful / serene vibe
  • Nice swimming pool
  • Indoor activities
  • Comfortable for kids and parents in South Goa
  1. Food recommendations
  • Must-try Goan dishes
  • Family-friendly restaurants/cafes
  • Seafood places worth trying
  • Any hidden gems
  1. Local commute Are buses practical and reliable for tourists/families? Or is renting a car / hiring cabs a better option in Goa nowadays?

Would really appreciate recommendations, itinerary tips, or things to avoid as well. Thanks!

FAU payment confirmation

Paid the application fees for FAU masters on 23rd April but still haven't received the payment confirmation/acknowledgement.

Ideally how long does it take for them to send an email? Should I wait more or should I send them an email asking for confirmation?

Anyone got any update for the Offenburg ENITS program? I had applied on 16th March and the status still shows "recieved"

As per previous years they normally roll out admits by this time
