Direction of wood floor.. sense check

Planning to get engineered wood for the downstairs areas marked in red.

For the larger areas i cant get my head around which way the boards should be laid.

Which way would be recommend for the best look?

At the moment im thinking left to right?

For context natural light

Over the past days my Watch 7 has barely lasted half a day.

Ive restored and reset but the issue is still persistent.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or have any fixes?
