Galaxy Watch 8 Classic too big?

I used to wear Watch4 44mm before and I'm not sure whether the 8 classic wouldn't be too big for me. Unfortunately I couldn't try them on without the security thingy.

If someone had a Watch 4 before, how is the 8 classic in regards to size?

Please help! Connection Failed. Try Again. Over and over and over.

I just bought a Galaxy Watch 7. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Wearable app. Android 16, One UI 8 on the phone. Bluetooth connects between the watch and the phone. I acknowledge the pairing code. Go into "Setup for myself". It says "Getting ready to connect. This might take a few minutes" The Wear app gives a percentage. The watch says "Check your phone to complete setup." The Wear app gets to 85%. Then goes to the "Scanning for devices to add screen. Then watch says "Couldn't connect to phone. Reset your watch, then try again." The watch is clearly visible as "Paired Device."

I have unpaired, I have tried forget. I have tried everything.

I have done this 20 times. I have restarted the phone. Cleared the Wear app app data. Pressed restart on the phone. Reset on the watch. Sometimes it says "OK" and then I get the pairing request again.

No matter what I do, it never gets past the "Setup for myself" percentage countdown. Sometimes it says "Failed to connect" on the phone. It always gets to "Scan again" on the app. It always shows "available devices", I pair the watch again. "Setup for myself". Phone says "Getting ready to connect, this might take a few minutes." And then it disconnects, the watch fails, turns off its bluetooth, turns it on again.

Over and over again. I never get anything past "Check your phone to complete setup" on this watch once it's paired. No faces. No menus. Nothing.

Help please.

I have watched video after video. Searched this Reddit.

Took me 3 months, but I finally got the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic

Was saving up for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and randomly saw a reddit post where someone got it for 19k on Flipkart (down from 35k). I immediately opened Flipkart to verify it bcz I thought it was fake.

The moment I saw the discount combined with the bank offer and Flipkart coupon, I grabbed my card and bought it immediately.

Using it since the last 3 days and honestly this watch feels amazing in hand. The classic design and rotating bezel make it feel so premium.

Edit: For those who want the watch face link 👇

Why didn't I get an excellent score from deep sleep with 2.30H of deep sleep?

Also I am sceptical about this being true, because I drank 2 beers before going to sleep and I woke up with a mild headache (Probably because I forgot to drink water before sleeping which I usually do after drinking alcohol).

Galaxy Watch 8: best battery life

Hi everyone, I'm interested in purchasing the Watch 8, as I own a Galaxy smartphone.

Among the various models (40mm, 44mm, 46mm, Ultra, etc.), which one has the longest battery life?

For my lifestyle, I'd be very bothered by having to charge the watch every night or do short charges throughout the day. I'd need it to last at least a day and a half, if not two, but I've read some comments from people complaining about the battery life.

Thanks!

Burnt smell

I have a brand new watch. 11 days old. Samsung 7. I am just now getting what I can only describe as a burnt hair or acrylic nail polish smell. Chemically. only the face of the watch smells this way, the back doesnt at all. Has anyone else experienced this?

Galaxy watch 3 band for women?

Hello, I'm looking for a watch band that actually fits my size watch? Everytime I've bought one online the band doesn't match the watch and also i have tiny wrists like a child so Im thinking I may need a children's sized band.

Can anyone tell me where I should be shopping for bands? I haven't worn my watch in forever cause I dont have a band.

Any ideas on hiding/removing these minor scratches?

Hey everyone! Yesterday I fell from bicycle and luckily, I got these minor scratches (could've been a lot worse lol). Sorry if you see lots of posts like this but I couldn't find a good solution to this problem sadly. So far I tried some sprays, but did not effect at all. It doesn't bother me that much to change the screen, but I would appreciate if anyone has some working hacks for this situation.

Thanks!

Galaxy 4 screen issue

My screen has turned red over the last 2 days. From what I've read online, my watch's display is gone for good and I need to replace the screen.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? Is there anything I can do to fix this without spending much?

Recommendations?

I am an Apple user and have been thinking about switching.

I currently have an Apple Watch and I use it quite a lot. I have a series 5 that’s 40mm. So compared to a lot of the galaxy watches, it’s a little smaller.

What would you guys recommend to someone who is pretty active and has smaller wrists? I like to run and I work a job where it’ll probably end up with a few scuffs, which I’m fine with. I like the idea of having a bigger battery, and the watch I currently have now plays my music playlists and gps tracks my runs without my phone. So I’d like a galaxy watch with similar features. But unfortunately, it seems like I’d have to have a big watch to get these features which I don’t really want.

Please let me know what you guys think

Super frustrated with the "find" feature

was working on my car and left my phone somewhere and couldn't find it. Went to use the find thing on my watch and it just sat there loading and loading for an eternity before I finally gave up and searched the entire shop like a madman until I found my phone.

I haven't used or needed this feature in a long time, but I remember it being as simple as clicking the app and ringing the phone basically instantly. Now it seems it wants to connect to the internet and do really anything but ring the damn phone so I can find it.

Anyone else run into this? Am I doing something wrong?

Watch5 pro if that matters

Samsung watch 7

My Samsung Watch 7 arrives tomorrow. I have never had a smartwatch before. Does anyone have tips and things I should do when I first get it? I also noticed that the battery is poor. Does anyone have advice on how I can extend the battery life, for example through settings? All tips are welcome.
