How can I tell whether I’m overthinking or if my boyfriend is hiding something from me?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months, but we’ve actually known each other for around 6 years because we were best friends before dating.

Lately I’ve been getting this feeling that he could be hiding something from me, but I can’t tell if it’s intuition or just anxiety. He’s always offered to let me go through his phone, but I’ve never accepted because I feel like everyone deserves privacy and I don’t really want to cross that line.

The other day I was helping him find his bank statements on his banking app, and I noticed a notification saying “authorisation cancelled.” From what I understand, that means a payment attempt was made but not approved. The name connected to it was Unlockt Me, which I know can be used for explicit content subscriptions.

When I asked him about it, he said he had no idea what it was, but his reaction felt a little off to me and now I can’t stop thinking about it.

How do you approach situations where you feel suspicious of your partner but don’t actually have proof of anything? And where do you personally draw the line between respecting privacy and looking for reassurance?

Edit: We have also had a talk about boundaries regarding porn

Hi, me and my boyfriend want a tv show with quite a few seasons that gets you hooked instantly, something mystery that you can figure out who is the murderer or who is the stalker etc but also has a bit of drama in it. Would even love something like a thriller and just keeps you on the edge of your seat, can be a little bit of a horror but not specificly known as a horror. Just want the tv show to have a mystery thats my main thing im looking for. Also dont want it to get boring near the end of the seasons like some usually do. Also from the UK so preferably anything on prime, netflix, discovery.
