Apartment moving is like job changes.

There are so many new apartments around LPGA that most are offering great move-in deals. It's crazy not to move and take advantage of the offers. We didn't move in January and we see now our management team screwed us. We should have shopped around.

Macan 6 cylinder base or 6 cylinder S ?

There is a 2019 Macan Base model with a 6 cylinder. I had hoped to find a 6 cylinder S. Is the Base a disappointment compared to the S ? I'm going to guess, yes, based on comments on this /sub.

Good dealerships are few and far between.

All,

Out of say, 10 dealerships, how many are good (decent prices and not trying to rip you off) and bad dealerships (all they do is scheme to rip you off).

In my area, I would have to say 50%, are trying to hide their grift in the deal. When they get around to putting actual numbers on paper it's like Three-Card Monte, where's the rip-off hidden.

Bore scoring, are their statistics available?

As my title indicates, are there statistics available regarding the number of Macan's sold in the US with reported Bore Scoring vs no Bore Scoring? Also, will a PPI easily determine if the Macan has Bore Scoring?

Thank you.

Don't all apply at once.

Security Company seeking a dynamic Director of Security personal for high-end condominium associations and high-rise condominiums. The applicant must possess an energetic style with patience and respect for all prospective clients/employees. A self-starter with a strong commitment to teamwork.

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 /hour

That is very low for a Director level position. At least someone will have a Director title on their resume.

Hello.

I'm likely buying a used German SUV, either 2017 or 2018. I have the metric socket sets, basic scanners and various other hand tools. Are there German auto tools that are used on a regular basis that someone who works on US auto's wouldn't know about but should buy?

Thank you.

Anyone else get a vibe from former police? I'm not talking about the people who retired from the police. I haven't met a bad one of those guys, ever. I'm talking about those who were short time police, like less than 5 years. Now they're in security.

We had one, he was chosen to be our supervisor. He was just terrible, micromanaging everyone and driving good officers out just to get away from him.

Now we have a new guy, former PO. He likes to over share his life and interests. He then expects everyone else to do likewise.

We are now into year 3 of MD blindness and ongoing cardiac emergencies. I drive her to appointments when I can, but I still have to work full time (overnights). Her daughter and granddaughters (mid 20's), live 10 minutes away. However, everyone works. It's very rare that anyone comes to help.

The past three months I have had to pull back so much on helping for my well being. I've been dealing with an ongoing infection and a joint issue that will likely need an operation. Any supplemental caregiver help would have to be paid by me and/or her family.

How does one go about recovery from this burnout? Plus, how can I get her family to do more? I don't feel good about any of this, but I have nothing left in the tank.

We are a 24/7 operation. You would work 7am to 3pm, but be on call 24/7 for any facility or crime related emergencies. You would have to fill in for any uncovered shifts. You have 12 people reporting to you. Not armed.

How much more $ would you need to take the position? Please indicate in the % percentage more you need.

Cheers.

I'm just looking for a possible solution to the ridiculously high used car prices here in the US.

I am not up on the latest EV tech or spec's. Are the Chinese brands of EV's, like BYD, good EV's? Are they good cars? Would you buy one, because apparently, if not tariffed to death, they are reasonably priced.

Thank you.

I've been done cohabitating for some years now. I am planning on leaving in December. I will tell her and her daughter that I'm done and other living arrangements need to be made. I'm leaving the state immediately. Her daughter will take her in because she can't afford to live on her own. I pay all the living expenses for both of us.

Has anyone else been through this? How did it go?

Thanks.

All,

We are down to the second to last round of options, all but one is German. My wrenching skills, I would put at intermediate (B-level). Of note; All of these are used, between 2016 to 2019, each with about 80K to 100K miles.

Which one(s) are to be dropped off this list because I can't maintain it by myself, they are just too complicated?

Thanks,

1.) Audi Allroad

2.) BMW X5

3.) Genesis G90/G80

4.) BMW 7/5 Series

5.) Porsche Cayenne

All,

Been looking for certification programs my employer will pay for, adding new skills to me. Has anyone gone through FEMA disaster management certification? Did it help you in your career?

Thank you.
