My revocation waiting period for my Driver's License ends on May 5th, which is in a few days. I sent the MV-44 application back in the beginning of the month.
I went on the online portal to check the status after revocation and it said my request was approved and the driving / eye exam tests are waived. So I went to the DMV today and they told me I still need to wait and once the letter from the DMV comes in the mail is when I can come back for the license.
Do I really need to wait for this letter to come in the mail or would the Driver Improvement Unit let me know over the phone that I can go back to the local office? They have long wait times on the phone so it's a bit of a pain waiting to get a response and each rep gives different answers. I have all the necessary paperwork filled out in advance, which is what the letter would include to bring to the DMV.
Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks!
