Need help with equipment advice

I need help with picking out equipment for an upcoming gig.

We are a 2 person group, myself on guitar and vocal, and the other person on cajon (a drum you sit on) and vocals as well.

So far we only have 2 amps and 2 mics. One with a single input for the guitar, then the other has 2 inputs for the vocals.

I know we need a way to mic up the cajon, so I guess another amp and mic.

I really don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to equipment like this. Do we need a sound board for audio balancing? One dedicated amp that everything feeds into? Any advice, websites to learn about this, or product recommendations are appreciated.

Advice for perfectionism causing anger

I've noticed a behavioral pattern that I have where anytime I make a mistake, I get irrationally angry with myself. I know it's not rational to hold myself to an incredibly high standard and then lash out when I fail to meet it, but I can't seem to stop the anger from arising.
For example, I take online classes in my free time because life long learning is important to me, but if I get a single question wrong on a quiz or test, I just get mad at myself and start a spiral of negative self talk, depending on the day and if I'm alone I'll just start yelling about how much of an idiot I am.
Or if I play a game with someone else, like chess, I'll get upset at any minor mistake I make to the point where I'll sometimes be mad even if I win because "I should have played better."

The frustrating part is that I KNOW I need to see failure as an opportunity for growth and not a character flaw. I KNOW that a few mistakes does not a failure make. But it still just sends me spiraling sometimes.

Does anyone have advice on how to break this particular cycle to try out?
