I just had a huge meltdown because my daughter made me coffee and it spilled all over my bag

My 11-year-old just learned how to make coffee and she loves to do it for me and my husband now. She was excited to make me coffee today because I have a training for my Counseling masters program I’m in and wanted to do something special.

My travel, coffee cup is leak proof unless the top inside is not shut which I did not realize it wasn’t. So I locked it in the outside and assumed it was fine. Dropped the kids off at their respective schools. Stopped at CVS to grab some mixed nuts or a snack. Grabbed my two bag out of the backseat and realized that the coffee was completely empty. My leather bag is completely full of coffee and leaking and staining everything it touches and my Ferragamo back is covered too. Not to mention everything inside is destroyed.

Also, I had a couple blocks of cheese in the back of salami for lunch inside grocery bag that was covered and sticky. So now I’m walking into my training with two blocks of cheese and a bag of salami without any bags or purses because this morning is a complete nightmare.

Don’t even know the people I’m training for or with so it’s not a funny story I can tell. I can’t be late so I can’t stop for coffee and cheer myself up. I just have to think how ruined my bags are and how my day has to get better.

I know in the long run this is not matter and most important thing is my family’s health and happiness but boy I didn’t need this this morning.

Not to worry, I will not be mentioning it to my daughter because I definitely don’t wanna make her feel bad for trying to do a nice thing.

If anyone else wants to share stupid thing that made them breakdown to cheer me up, feel free.

TLDR: my daughter made me coffee but didn’t know how to close the inside of the top so it emptied out inside and all over my bags and I literally had a meltdown

Also I used talk to text and didn’t realize what a mess this was….. sorry!

Gave myself a Mother’s Day manicure to cheer myself up

I don’t like this day, it drives me kind of nuts.

But I wanted to feel a little good so I did my nails.

Hi! Has anyone planted their zinnia seeds outside yet?

I was checking out the night temps this week and they’re still pretty cool but I really want to plant them!

Should I wait? I seed the border between the sidewalk and lawn.

Looking for high-calorie (fat and protein heavy too) foods with minimal serving size

My little guy is not an eater. He eats oatmeal, belvita bars sometimes, and is obsessed with little bites muffins.

He is getting thinner and thinner and we’re worried he’s not getting enough of what he needs to grow. Does anyone have any autism-friendly food ideas that are calorie dense since he doesn’t like to eat a big portion?

He’s 3, and is so high up on his tip toes that his pinky toes don’t even touch the ground. He can’t be flat footed at all, this is now his natural posture. He’s worn out two pairs of Billy shoes in less than a month because he crawls a lot. They also fall off constantly because he’s so high up on his toes.

Is there a good shoe that he can wear that will stay on and is more rugged for crawling? He’s not my kiddo (I also have a 3 year old with autism but he does not tip toe like this) but he’s my 1:1 kiddo and I don’t want his parents to keep buying a shoe that’s super expensive and not even working for him.

I do want to add that I know that this is not healthy for him and he does get services but his feet are just not going to change without surgery. It makes me wonder how this even happened and how a doctor didn’t catch it but that’s a whole other story.

Any recommendations would be great. Thank you!
