Got a used Fastroad SLR 2018 and would really like to have a kickstand if possible, but it seems the frame doesn’t really have kickstand mount points? Does anyone perhaps have a suggestion/solution to that?
It’s the 2018 model, priced at $320. Is it worth it?
Edit to add: hydraulic disk breaks, Shimano Tiagra gears.
I think the Roubaix is objectively better but also most expensive, so looking for advice about the best value/fit for my use. I’m a casual rider, mostly on roads but I also want the bike to not fall apart on short stretches of light gravel/trail. I have 3 options:
Giant Fastroad SLR 1 2018 with Tiagra and hydraulic disc breaks. ~380.
Giant Fastroad Comax 1 2018 with 105 and hydrualic disc breaks. ~570.
Specialized Roubaix 2018 with 105 and mechanical disc breaks. ~850.
I plan to fit 32-35mm tires (whichever fits) and for the Fastroads I might get a Redshift stem.
Any advice is appreciated :)
