Weird cyberpunk in game habits anyone?

I hide as many bodies as I can even if I’ve gone into the mission guns blazing. Not just for them sweet sweet headhunter points but also because bodies piss and shit themselves after death and combined with the smell they make when they start to decay… YUCK! I don’t want ANYONE to have to walk into that the minute they discover my crime scene!

Why do Cyberdecks look more blocky in regards to runners like Bartmoss and Murphy but are just chips when it comes to V? (Examples below)

Also why does spider Murphy wear her deck on her wrist but it’s implied V’s cyberdeck is slotted into their head?

Stolas(rewrite)
is actually the third Stolas in a short line of Stolas’ that have ruled for tens of thousands of years before him
Initially suggested a monetary exchange with Blitzø(money for the book) but Blitzø being broke from spending all his money on toy ponies and jars, turns on the charm and suggests a sexual payment instead to which Stolas very enthusiastically agrees (making the thing a lot more consensual)
His royal duties involve educating the younger nobility about astronomy and magic
Doesn’t speak about Sexual topics in front of his Daughter because it’s inappropriate (he’s more prudish in public but in private his mouth is horribly filthy)
Is mentally and physically in his 50s despite being around 502 years old.
Married Stella willingly (actually proposing to her) mistaking friendship for love
Didn’t realize he was gay until he was 486(when Via was about a year old)
After he figured it out, he didn’t tell anyone out of shame because he felt like he lead Stella on. And began to emotionally distance himself from her out of guilt. Which sent their relationship on a downward spiral that exploded in the form of his affair with Blitzø
Feels Guilty for the affair but tries to burry that guilt most of the time
Was childhood friends with Stella
(Not sure how to write his first meeting with Blitzø anyone have any ideas?)

The idea is you get these specific gigs that you having to involve deep-diving into the net. Usually to get data from a corp, a gang or even extract data from a living person (like in edgerunners). All the while avoiding the traps set in the ICE blocking your way avoiding rouge ai, and maybe even solving puzzles(depends on the gig) . And the higher your intelligence and or technical ability the easier these jobs can be/become.

Why would this be a thing? I dunno! I loved being in cyberspace and I wish we got to spend more time in there! Sue me!

(Disclaimer: this rant is from the perspective of a white dude. So if any people of color want to chime in and offer their POV and or Criticism please do. I genuinely want to hear your thoughts on this.)

Actual rant: Daisy had a lot of potential, a young woman of color who came to Colombia after being promised paradise only to be forced into the same racist social structure she faced on the surface. And then was framed for a murder she didn’t commit. And then became a leader of a revolution to bring justice to the people who framed her and bring equality to those hurt by Columbia’s racist and exploitative regime.

Then the game started making questionable choices the first of which that I can recall is with Booker stating: “when it comes down to it the only difference between Fitzroy and Comstock is how you spell the name.”

My first thought when I heard that was “what?! No! One is a religious lying racist rich dictator oppressing anyone who isn’t white. The other is a poor black woman who was framed by previously mentioned racist douche and is now leading a revolution giant him. These are not the same at all!”

And it only got worse when they made Daisy at the Vox villains. Nothing about Daisy from what I heard in her Vox-a-phone dairies implied she would go as far as to kill children.

I don’t know if it was someone from the board of directors, or a higher up in the studio. But it felt like someone went “erm… this is too progressive! We may offended someone! Make Daisy a villain to keep everyone happy!”

Making Daisy suddenly turn into a child-killer/ someone who would kill booker just for not fitting her “he died a hero” narrative. As well as the “Both Daisy and Comstock are villains” dialogue from Booker and Elizabeth. Feels like the game’s attempt at a centrist cop-out.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
