I’m sure many of you have seen the social media reels, news articles, Reddit threads, etc on this. Anyways, here is the petition to sign to advocate forcing the SCH CEO to make changes.

Sign the petition to change the current policy for helicopter access:

(Here’s a good current news article on it, if you want to read. The Seattle reddit sub also has some insane info. Can’t imagine being an RN at SCH right now).

Laurelhurst made a PR statement after shutting down their website. Kudos to the PAC Northwest media accounts for doing a deep dive, and digging up the receipts on how awful these people actually are.

My personal favorite was the “why must the region’s children be treated here”, after threatening to pull their Guild Foundation donations. The NIMBYism, nationalism, ethnocentrism, classism here is unreal.

REPOSTING because these are all from PUBLIC COMMENTARY RECORDS FROM THE CITY MEETINGS ON THE HOSPITAL EXPANSIONS. THESE ARE NOT PRIVATE EMAILS. Thanks for being cool, Seattle Mods. 😎

UPDATE: The person whose email threatens to pull their financial donations because they are upset that the “region’s children are being treated here” IS THE CURRENT VICE PRESIDENT OF THE LAURELHURST COMMUNITY COUNCIL AND HELPED TO WRITE THEIR BS PUBLIC STATEMENT. Thanks to their own neighbors for diming them out. 😝

UPDATE 2: The flight company the pilot works for CONFIRMED he was denied access to land on the roof with a critical pediatric patient, as his original social media post stated (see news link below). Seattle Children’s is complicit with these entitled, terrible people.

FYI: They took all of these emails from the public commentary records for city meetings about the explosions. THEY ARE PUBLIC RECORDS.

Anyone know what’s up with St Charles and AirLink? Hearing a lot of rumors this weekend in the EMS gossip pipeline. Wondering about any loss of emergency resources given we recreate often and {ir}responsibly doing fun {stupid} things. That’d be a bummer, dude.
