Hello all, I’m new to admech and just played my first game vs EC. He had a mauler fiend, a winged demon prince, a walking demon prince and fulgrim. I was running haloscreed with a pretty normal list but brought a unit of 6 destroyers with a minipulus with the enhancement to reroll hazardous.

I played really well in terms of screening and reactive moves to either lock up a big target or take them out of charge range.

I know admech got points nerfed a few months ago and some people have had a hard time but I think I won pretty decidedly and would’ve tabled him if he didn’t just accept the loss turn 4. We are both pretty average/good players but I wanted to know why people dislike bringing the destroyers. I had 2 units of 3 ironstriders shooting the big units and the destroyers obliterating elite/normal infantry and it felt incredibly strong.

Am I missing something on why it’s better to not bring them? Thanks
