Painted up a more fantasy style proxy Mortarion, model came with a scythe but I just vibed with the spear

Love working with vibrant colours. Really enjoy this style of painting to the regular death guard green!

Currently painting Foetid Bloat Drone. Which version do you like better? I am actually not really satisfied with how the skin turned out. Wanted it so look more greyish and therefore used Rakarth flesh as basecoat and out reikland fleshshade above is, but it is way to prominent (don’t know why I thought it was only a shade and therefore should be way more transparent) for my taste. It looks too healthy

loss of some detail is to be expected but damn its tough to capture a idea

Starting a DG army, 1st test

1st test mini, I have 2 test minis left to screw up! before i commit.

i wanted to go bright but still dirty, any suggestions on changes or improvments before i try test mini no. 2 are welcome, Ive been painting a faction that was a lot cleaner in look to DG and im struggling to see my work atm.

This is my second death guard I’ve painted and I’m having a blast.

Didn’t finish in time but I like where it’s going. Happy Easter

First finished project (besides some small details I’m too lazy to fix atm) and it’s the death guard combat patrol. Mostly painted with army painter speed paints and used hobby lobby green stuff for the rhino. other faction bits are from friends’s armies. feed back is always appreciated though this is mainly a for fun post!

Working on my blending skills with these guys, love the almost cell shading aspect i got with the paintwork

I love these models. He did sit half painted for so long. Nice to lessen that pile of shame. Some deathshroud next maybe.

Greetings putrid bretheren, this servant of the Plauge Father ask for aid in painting this one models armour a dull putrid yellow, i only have averland sunset and phalanx yellow. as base yellow.

I considered dry brushing yellow, or just painting it right on, idk, i have a pre heresey color scheme going, with heavy grime, grimdark style.
